About the Wine

Passion For Quality Wines in the Centuries-old Tradition of the Langhe Region

For Centuries, Ca' Brusa has been known for strictly following traditional methods in creating their wines. From the careful selection of grapes from their Barolo vineyards, to the winemaking and aging process at historic premises, each step is carried out with the utmost dedication to ensure the quality and authenticity of all of their products.

The Barolo VIGNA D’VAI Riserva is a wine of rare beauty, produced in the heart of the Langhe, a region renowned for its winemaking tradition in Piedmont, Italy. This Reserve stands out for its exceptional quality, crafted from 100% Nebbiolo grapes harvested from vineyards with an average age of 45 years, on soils balanced with clay, silt, and sand.

Each bottle produced pays homage to traditional winemaking craftsmanship, with grapes cultivated with care and wines crafted with mastery.

The winemaking process involves fermentation with daily punch-downs and extended submerged cap maceration for up to 30 days. Aging then occurs in small oak barrels for 24 months, followed by another 10 months in 25 HL barrels, and finally, the wine undergoes further bottle aging for 7 years before being released to market, imparting its unmistakable complexity and depth.
