The 2018 Growing Season Was Almost As Perfect As It Could Get in Napa
Almost ideal weather conditions and a long, slow paced harvest period allowed the full potential of these grapes to shine.
The near picture-perfect growing season began in late February. Spring was mild, with extended flowering yielding uniform grape clusters. Temperatures remained steady and warm throughout the growing season, without any significant heat spikes, making for a cool, unhurried harvest.

TASTING NOTES:
A blend of 76% Cabernet Sauvignon and 24% Cabernet Franc, this wine embodies the essence and spirit of Oakville delivering a smooth, big wine with lots of body and medium tannins. A symphony of aromas ranging from tobacco, vanilla bean, coconut, cedar, oregano, coffee and eucalyptus explode from the glass. There is pleny of dark fruit like black currant and fig leading the palate into opulent and controlled tannins, showing a fine balance with a smooth medium-length finish that invites another taste.
Pair this wine with venison, mature cheeses and any beef or poultry.
Wine of this incredible pedigree usually demands a much higher price tag.
