Domaine Laroche is renouned the world over for their spectacular and affordable white Burgundy wines. They are one of the largest producers in Chablis with over 90 hectares of vineyard situated amongst the best crus and 1000 years of history in the region.
From entry level to Grand Cru, Domaine Laroche has it all. Vieille Voye is located beneath Premier Cru Les Vaillons on a rounded top with wide exposure. This wine is made just like a Premier Cru: hand harvested, grape sorting in the winery and long ageing in French oak “foudre” for 9 months. This plot lies over 7 ha, all in once. A vineyard with all the characteristics of a great terroir of Chablis: sunny exposure, Kimmeridgian limestone soil and 70 year-old vines. Ripeness can be achieved without losing the typical salty character of the terroir.
