From the slopes of the Friuli-Venezia Giulia region of Northern Italy comes this gem of a Saugivnon Blanc. Volpe Pasini with a rich history dating back to the 16th century, is known for producing high-quality wines, and Zuc di Volpe Sauvignon reflects the winery's commitment to excellence.
The Friuli-Venezia Giulia region is renowned for its exceptional terroir. The combination of the region's microclimate, soil, and altitude imparts distinctive flavors and aromas to the grapes, resulting in a Sauvignon Blanc with unique characteristics.
Produced exclusively with Sauvignon grapes, harvested and selected only by hand. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperature. Subsequently the wine remains for a period in the bottle where it refines its exceptional aromas and flavor.
TASTING NOTES
Volpe Pasini's Zuc di Volpe Sauvignon is characterized by a straw yellow color. The nose opens with a balanced bouquet of vegetal and gravel notes. In the mouth tropical and citrus fruits mingle, carried by a delightful acidity that finishes soft and elegant.
This Sauvignon can be enjoyed by itself as an apartif or with crustaceans and fish and even heavier flavors such as tomato based dishes and hearty stew.
