Around the World!
Wines from last night. The 82 DP was stunning, but the 70 DP was a bait better. Both with caramel notes followed by sliced sourdough bread, and honeyed peach slices. The 70 Palmer was well into its last stage of life but still showing dried raspberry, tilled wet earth, and dried cooking spice. Coming from a tough vintage, the 84 Laffeur still managed to have layers of red and black fruit followed by lavender and boysenberry.
