First Time With Pegau Blanc! Yummm
Great times last night! The 2010 Bond was showing opulent fruit with massive oak notes and a crushing wave of hard tannins. Great wine but it needs another decade in the bottle to be ready. The 08 Aubert was showing like a village level chambolle with earthy aromas and dried blue/red fruit. The real treat was the 2014 Pegu Cuvée a Tempo CDP blanc... This was my first time trying this wine, and I can say it’s one of my favorite white Rhône’s I have ever had! Amazingly complex with notes of white peach, chalk, saline, quince, and white flowers. Every time I tasted this wine it showed more and more levels of complexity with a 90+ second finish. What a amazing wine!
