2019 Stag's Leap Cellars Viognier 750ml $30
Tasting Notes: The 2019 Viognier is vibrant, aromatic and lively, showcasing the variety’s classic stone fruit characters alongside a fragrant floral bouquet. The wine is bright with refreshing acidity that is crisp with nuances of citrus blossom, white peach, Asian pear and lychee, alongside hints of key lime, Meyer lemon and honeysuckle. Hints of flinty minerality lead to a lovely depth and rich creaminess of the texture. This Viognier has incredible complexity, finishing soft and round with an elegant, delicately spiced floral note. Perfect for warm weather al fresco dining occasions, allowing you to pair with lighter fare and spicy exotic dishes, creating a perfect accompaniment to any occasion. |

2018 Etude Pinot Noir 750ml $35
Tasting Notes: The Etude Carneros Pinot Noir is a true reflection of the winery’s estate vineyard, Grace Benoist Ranch. A blend of the best grapes from individual vineyard parcels on the Ranch, this wine tells the story of a particular vintage from a very unique place. Vivid strawberry and dried-flower aromas here with hints of sandalwood. Medium to full body with firm, creamy tannins and a tangy finish. Opulent. Tight and focused. Pumice and black and white-pepper notes. A pretty wine already, but give it a year or two to open and soften.
2018 Beringer Knights Valley Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon 750ml $45
Tasting Notes:Beringer Vineyards has owned and farmed its Knights Valley vineyards since the mid-1960s, when the Beringer family recognized that the cobbled, rocky alluvial soils were a great place to grow high quality wine grapes. The Knights Valley designation was first used on a Beringer label in 1974. Beringer was instrumental in garnering official recognition for the area in 1983 as a premier wine growing region with the award of its own American Viticulture Area (AVA) designation. Baked-blueberry, spiced-cherry, praline and vanilla aromas. Some gravel and pine undertones. It’s full-bodied with firm, tight tannins. Creamy and supple with seamless fruit and hazelnut layers. Sleek and polished tannins.
2017 Beaulieu Vineyards Tapestry Reserve Red Blend 750ml $45
Tasting Notes: This is a wine that shows the artistry of blending five Bordeaux-heritage grape varieties, which contributed layer-upon-layer of flavor complexity. Cabernet Sauvignon gave the wine its generous core of briary blackberry and cassis expression, while we increased the amount of Merlot this year to tame the tannins and add plush mid-palate texture. Malbec contributed deep plum notes, while Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot completed the blend with nuances of rose, forest loam and graphite.
2019 Penfolds Bin 389 Cabernet Shiraz 750ml $60
Tasting Notes: Bin 389 was often referred to as ‘Baby Grange’, in part because components of the wine are matured in the same barrels that held the previous vintage of Grange. First made in 1960 by the legendary Max Schubert, this was the wine that helped forge Penfolds reputation with red wine drinkers by combining the structure of cabernet sauvignon with the richness of shiraz. Exemplifying the judicious balance of fruit and oak, Bin 389 highlights the generous mid-palate Penfolds in known for. |
