2-Pack Featuring Domaine Faiveley Pinot Noir and Chardonnay
7 Generations of Vignerons
Wine runs deep in the Faiveley family’s blood, as they have been deeply rooted in Bourgogne, its history, and its culture for almost two centuries now. Their values have remained unchanged over the last seven generations and are based on a deep attachment to the Bourgogne region, an instinctive passion for the terroirs, and an innate respect for man and his work.
Behind each Burgundian Climat lies an accomplished soloist who unveils his virtuosity by pushing the limits of his instrument, vintage after vintage, to bring perfection and emotion to an audience of neophyte and passionate.
The winemaker is a distinguished orchestra conductor who guides the performance and proudly affirms the unique identity of each Climat whilst preserving the harmony and balance of ancestral Burgundian traditions.
The entrepreneurial spirit runs deep in the Faiveley family.
Throughout history, each of its members has exerted a parallel activity in addition to their involvement in the world of wine, whether that be cobbler, doctor, lawyer or engineer. Deeply rooted in Burgundy yet free to pursue other professionnel activities, each generation seized new opportunities so as to gradually contribute to building the domaine we know today.
In their perpetual quest for innovation, the Faiveley family invented the pantograph and was also the first to use the manual sorting table. Also a family of pioneers, they acquired several hectares of vines in the côte chalonnaise at a time when very few believed in the region’s potential. More recently, they also made the decision to explore the Pinot Noir of California.
2022 Faiveley Bourgogne Rouge
Beautiful ruby color. This wine has pleasant, fresh, red-fruit aromas on the nose, which we also savor on the palate. It has a rich and very ripe substance, with fine round tannins. It’s a very well structured and pleasant wine.
2022 Faiveley Bourgogne Chardonnay
A brilliant pale greenish-yellow color. The very nice expressive nose has white flower scents. The attack is bold and generous. This wine, which is balanced on the palate, has good volume and quite exceptional long-lasting scents and tastes for a Bourgogne blanc. This is a good value wine that can be enjoyed from now on.
