Champagne Nominé-Renard is a family of winemakers with generations of vineyard expertise passed on to the next. A passion set forth by their founders which represents a tradition of family winemaking excellence but also an invitation for dreamers and creators to create their own legacy. Today, Simon Nominé is at the head of the family House and embodies the third generation of Champagne winegrowers. Inheriting the know-how of his grandfather and father, Simon meticulously perpetuates the family tradition while adding his personal touch.
The Brut Nominé Renard cuvee is a champagne blend made from Chardonnay (40%), Pinot Noir (30%) and Pinot Meunier (30%). The grapes used to make this cuvee come from 4 different terroirs: Côte des Blancs, Marne Valley, Côte de Sézanne and Villevenard. This cuvee diversity gives the Brut Nominé cuvee a great typicity. A high proportion of Chardonnay gives the Nominé Brut an original profile. A fresh and elegant Champagne, with lots of minerality and citrus fruits aromas.
Tasting Notes:
Rich and rounded with an attractive toastiness showing bottle age. The palate begins with citrus, white peach and butter biscuits, with a fresh and rich mouthfeel, ending fruity and crispy with generous minerality.
