Founded in 1760, Lanson is one of the oldest Champagne Houses. Drawing on our family heritage and unique expertise, the women and men of Lanson have been guided for more than 260 years by their respect towards nature, their care for others and their creativity.
A Unique Palette of Supply
Lanson's vineyards cover 430 hectares, including 60 hectares of estate and 16 hectares of organic and biodynamic viticulture, with access to the best parcels from among a hundred or so Crus, half of which are Grand and Premier Crus.
To take the precision and quality of the blends even further, Maison Lanson has redesigned its vinification facilities. Now having four in-house presses close to the vines, a plot-by-plot winery to preserve the intrinsic qualities of each Cru, and a wooden cellar to enhance their reserve wines. This combination of tradition and modernity, combined with the talent of Chef de Caves, produces wines of exceptional richness.
Freshness at the heart of the Lanson style
The aromatic signature of the Maison Lanson is first and foremost the fruit of a savoir-faire based on four major pillars: the meticulous selection of Crus, a traditional vinification method mainly without malolactic transformation, the richness of reserve wines and a longer ageing time in Cellar. As a result, Lanson Champagnes stand out for their vitality, fruitiness and inimitable freshness.
